Each time Shotcut generates a video, a new line is added to the Jobs panel on the right side of the Shotcut program window. Regardless of the version of Shotcut you are using, each entry in the Jobs panel contains: (1) the name (and location on your computer) where the file is being saved, (2) some type of progress indicator, and (3) notification when the process has completed. More specifically, here is how the older and newer versions of the program compare: The older versions of Shotcut display the name of the file Shotcut is creating along with the path to the location on your computer where it is being saved. (See Figure 35 , below.) Progress is indicated in percent completion of the entire process. When the value for percent progress reaches 100%, it is replaced by the word " done " to indicate that Shotcut has finished creating the file. The newer versions of Shotcut display the name and location of the file being generated in a similar manner to that used by older versions of the program. (See Figure 36 , below.) In addition to the aforementioned percent progress indicator, there is also a horizontal bar graph superimposed over the Jobs panel entry that provides a rough indication of progress towards completion. When the process has completed, a green checkmark replaces the image of a stack of disks immediately to the left of the Jobs panel entry, along with the total time required to complete the process.
