The Master's in Teaching and Learning program is designed for teachers who want to further develop in-depth knowledge and skills. The degree prepares teachers for positions such as lead teacher, curriculum specialist, instructional consultant, peer coach, and department chairperson. They may also continue as teachers, but with the added responsibility of serving as a role model or mentor for their colleagues. Some candidates are also planning to pursue further study at the doctoral level. On-site or online options are available.
This degree does not lead to initial certification or National Board Certification.
