The Doctorate of Education (Ed.D) in Special Education program is designed to prepare expert educators,educational leaders, and/or university faculty to enhance special education services and special educator preparation. Work leading to the Ed.D. degree includes core coursework in legal and policy issues affecting special education program administration, evaluation of special education programs, and contemporary topics in special education. A master's degree and relevant professional experience are required.
