The College of Education's graduate certificate programs assist individuals who have a college degree further their academic experience by focusing more specifically on an aspect of education.

• Chief School Business Official

  

  This program is designed for Illinois educators interested in advance study and preparation in the organization and administration of the management of fiscal, as well as physical, and human resources of a public school district in Illinois.

• Director of Special Education

  

  Requirements for certification as a Director of Special Education may be met through a degree program (Doctorate in Special Education) or through a post-master's, non-degree program.

• School Librarianship

  

  Are you a certified teacher who wants to become a school librarian? Illinois State University offers coursework in school librarianship designed especially for teachers seeking endorsement as Library Information Specialists.

• Superintendent

  

  Superintendent endorsement on a Professional Educator License may be obtained within the post-master's endorsement program or within the doctoral program.
